BRENT BENDER
I am a third generation aviator who grew up in Los Angeles, Ca. My grandfather was a navigator in training during WW2 and my father was a private pilot and air traffic controller. In 2017 my father bought me an introductory flight which ignited my passion for aviation. It is my goal to provide a positive instructional experience with an emphasis on safety and I hope to share my love for flying to as many people as I can.
I earned my private pilot certificate in 2020, instrument rating in 2022, commercial, CFI, and CFII in 2023.
I have experience teaching tailwheel, as well as in G5 and G1000 equipped airplanes. Most of my time has been spent training in the following airplanes: C150, C172 (H, M, N, P, SP) C182J, C210T, PA-28, PA-32-300, 7AC Aeronca, and Diamond DA-40-40 XLS
When I am not flying I enjoy spending time with my wife and cat, gardening, and playing chess.
